I know that HMRC should automatically enrol you for the EORI (Economic Operator Registration and Identification) Scheme if your business is VAT registered. Will my clients who trade with Europe but whose turnover is below the VAT threshold and not registered for VAT need to apply for this now?

I am currently working outside of IR35 , but my contract is due for renewal in February. Due to the rule changes due in April 2020 how might this effect me? Is it up to my client whether I will now be deemed inside IR35?  and could HMRC question why I was outside IR35 originally?

Due to reduced office space my company has made it compulsory for us to work from home twice a week.  I have read that I might be able to claim tax back for some expenses e.g electricity? Could anyone advise if this is the case? most examples I can find refer to self employed workers.
